AMAZING MAZE (1 or 2 players)

Walk down "blind alleys" or find three doorways leading from a room--each one leading into a closed hallway! Score points by being the first one to arrive at your opponent's starting point.

With Amazing Maze, you can choose long or short games and select from a variety of skill levels. At any level, the maze changes every time you play.

STARTING THE GAME

Choose Amazing Maze by pressing 1 on the keypad or by using remote game selection (pull the trigger on hand control 1, turn the knob until 1 appears on the screen, then pull the trigger again).

Enter the number of players (1 or 2). If 1 is entered, the other player is the Arcade.

Select the maximum score (1-99). The score entered is for the total game (not for each player). If you enter a number that is less than 9, you will need to press the = sign to start the game.

Choose the difficulty of the maze by selecting 1-EASY, 2-MEDIUM or 3-HARD.

PLAYING THE GAME

The hand control functions for Amazing Maze are:

Knob Has no function.
Joystick Moves the players' colored squares through the maze.
Trigger (Hand control 1) Advances the game to the next maze.

The object of the game is to reach your opponent's starting position first by moving your colored square through the maze. After the maze has been created, use the joystick to direct the movements of your colored square. Player 1 controls the square with player 2 directing the blue one.

There is only one path through each maze. As you proceed toward your opponent's starting point, an audible tone gets higher. When you move in the opposite direction, the tone gets lower. When you have found the correct starting position, a victory tune is played and the winning pathway is displayed.

At the top corners of the screen, you will see the scores for both players. Then, after the trigger is pulled on hand control 1, another maze is prepared for entry.

SCORING

Each time a player wins the maze (by reaching his opponent's starting point first), he is awarded one point. The game continues with additional mazes until one player reaches the maximum score.

TIC-TAC-TOE (1 or 2 players)

In this traditional game of strategy and challenge, points are scored for being the first to place three X's or squares in a row on the game board. The board is then reset and the fun continues.

STARTING THE GAME

Choose Tic-Tac-Toe by pressing 2 on the keypad or by using remote game selection (pull the trigger on hand control 1, turn the knob until 2 appears on the screen, then pull the trigger again).

Enter the number of players (1 or 2). If 1 is chosen, the Arcade becomes the opponent.

Select the maximum score (1-99). If you enter 9 or less, the = sign must be pressed to start the game.

PLAYING THE GAME

The hand control functions for Tic-Tac-Toe are:

Knob Has no function.
Joystick Moves the symbols to the desired position.
Trigger Locks choice in the desired position on the game board.

The object of the game is to be the first to place your symbol in three consecutive positions on the game board--horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

As you take turns placing your symbol on the hoard, try to block your opponent in two or three directions. The game continues until there is a winner or until all positions have been filled.

The symbol and score for both players are at the top corners of the screen. Player 1 controls the red X, and player 2 the blue square.

SCORING

As soon as the first player achieves the three consecutive positions on the board, he is awarded one point. If neither player achieves this, no points are awarded and a new game board is re-drawn. The games continue until one player reaches the maximum score.

PLAYING AGAIN

To play Tic-Tac-Toe again, press the RESET button, and follow the instructions for starting the game
